Day 2, Headed out from Kelowna after having a nice breaky. Got the neccessary grocerys and headed for Joss Mtn. Arrive at the camping area unloaded and headed up about 12 kms of fire road to not finding the trail entrance. After some searching ripping up different service roads finally found the entrance. The troops gathered and up we went. The trail was fairly overgrown at the beginning, still very neat cruising through the beautiful vegatation. Eventually we busted into the alpine at a spot called the Ampatheatre. Had a rest there and continued up to the Cabin, evuntually reached the cabin at 7800 ft above sea level. Very cool. We then proceeded to do some trundling(rolling rocks) some laughs for sure, sean was loving it. I think Justin got the biggest one to go. Had a quick ride down and proceeded to Golden to Join Cory for riding the rest of the weekend.
Okay finally got some time to post some stuff from our trip last week, First day left Squamish on Route to Kelowna, cruised through downtown van. as we had to pick up the first Roof Top Tent in Richmond. pics later. The crew consisted of Sean, Tim, Gerry and myself. Sean mostly rode his street bike, sometimes putting it the trailer to have a break and a hang out. A quick stop outside of Keremeous for a quick climb to a summit Sean had checked out and wanted to hit. We then had a drop off of a GasGasenduro in Summerland to some happy riders. Finally we arrived in Kelowna where Andrew and Cheryl James welcomed us with a nice BBQ and bevys. Gerry slept in his van and the rest of us all had nice beds to sleep in. thanks guys.
Just to you let know, me and some friends are heading out of Squamish on Route to Kelowna to stay at another Trials guys house for the night. We will be hitting the beaches from Penticton to Kelowna thursday afternoon. Then a BBQ at Andrew's house and then maybe an evening ride in Peachland. Heat depending. Friday morning(possible ride) we'll be again hitting the beach and then off to Golden for the weekend. We will be riding the Cliffside trail along with a couple Alpine rides on the weekend. Probably riding morning and evening with river action inbetween. Sunday night could be hitting White Swan hot springs for the night then off to the Kooteneys for a day and then home to Squamish.
Anyone interested in Joining us along the way is tottally welcome. If you need parts, gear or a just a good time call Ricky at 604 213 9378.
Here's some pics and video from the Sunday. Lot of riders came out for the fun challenging sections. Started to rain for the second lap, which made things a bit interesting. Jnr/Int. had three laps of about 10 sections. Adv. Exp. and Champ had three laps of 10 sections. It was tight to get back within the time limit. A few riders got time penalties. bye for now. styles
Okay Golden. Sweet riding on Mt. Seven. Rode with Justin Peterman and Cory Knapp Sat. night. Ride began with me trying to unload my bike which was locked up to my truck, not happening, realized my key for the lock was at Home. So off I went back to Justins to cut the lock, got it done in no time and we were off. Blazed the Cliffside loop, got out of the trial at 10:30pm with it just getting dark. Golden being right on the time zone line you can ride nice and late with out it being to hot. Sunday consisted of two rides. One from mid morning till 2ish then back to Justin's newly built dock(he lives right on the Columbia river) for a nice swim and Salmon bbq. Then back into the trails at 7 for some more punishment. If your looking for a good challenge Cliffside has got it. Big rock walls technical sections and steep hill climbs. Don't worry if your mellow there's sally lines for you to rip. Off to Kamloops... more pics to come, my connection just went all slow where I'm at right now. post them later Styles

Below is a little vid of "Styles" and "Throttle" riding Hydro Rock in Conroy's Thunderdome!
Spent last weekend in Kelowna hanging with the Legendary Andrew James. Instead of riding we opted for some Training Kite action at the beach and then some Of road rock racing where the these modified Jeeps and buggies race twice through two different tracks(one each) best combined time wins. Then the bonus stage where they had climb up this fairly steep rock face about 10 feet high turn around and go back down. One truck did flip over on the way down. Still waiting for the pics on the crash. Anyone up for learning how to Kite? I think Andrew and I are going for it! Bye bye oh a vid for ya!
Sorry for the late post on this ride, been a bit busy with life lately. Here's some shots from the Conroy creek ride half way between Squamish and Whistler. In attendance: Goldy, Andew Deboer, Kelly Walters(tired after a 48hr fast), Clayton, Tim and I. Super fun ride, rode pretty much the main lines showing the boys from Whistler around. On the way back to the parking lot Tim and I rode the new Double Exposure(until otherwise named) trail built by Throttle and a couple buddys here and there. Sick trail goes pretty much straight up these bluffs that over look the parking lot. Deadly for a quick fix for some up and lots of rock, some loose switch back to a glorious view of the Tantulas Range Glaciers when you reach the Ridge at the top. thanks for ride, now back to life..
Hey Guys and Gals out there, here's the results for the Squamish Trial from Sunday May 31. Great event good times. Thanks to everyone who came out and rode or took pictures or simply just hung out. Spence and Chessy with the awsome beer trophys and chocolates. Prizes were also given to top 2 finishers in each class. Story about the trial coming soon, here's the results for now. Lot's of photos from the trial coming tonight or tomorrow.
